No. GoChronos Speech to Text uses the browser's on-device recognition mode exclusively — it never falls back to cloud recognition. If on-device processing isn't available, the tool stays disabled rather than uploading your audio.

Which browsers support on-device dictation?

Chrome 139+ on desktop supports on-device speech recognition. The tool checks availability and, when needed, offers to download the language pack once so recognition then runs offline.

Can I export the transcript?
